TracTrix in Theater scenery and stage sets
Few theaters have the same size or shape of floor areas on stage. But scenery and sets have to be designed to fit each individual stage where a production tours.

Floor plans are only available as old drawings or blueprints. Set and stage designers usually design in CAD but do not receive CAD files for the floor plans of the theater. The problem is how to get the theater floor plans from paper into CAD.

To achieve this the drawing is scanned into a raster file and brought into TracTrix for automatic conversion to vectors. The vector files are exported into the designers CAD software as the basis for new design work.
