Architects often have notebooks full of favorite design
details. (e.g. cornice details, corner details, door and
window details) These exist only on paper. Architects use
these details again and again by redrawing each of them in
CAD every time they are to be used. To make them available in CAD details are scanned on a desktop scanner as raster files. TracTrix automatically converts these into vectors for use in the architect's CAD software. A library of frequently used details is then available in CAD format. |
